What makes and models do you work on?
All of them. We repair van bodies and power tailgates of every make, on trucks including Ford, Freightliner, GMC, Hino, Isuzu, Kenworth, Mitsubishi and Peterbilt.
Can you move my van body to a new truck?
Yes. We transfer bodies, tailgates, ramps, reefer units and belly bins from one chassis to another. We hold a National Safety Mark, so we can install a used body on a new chassis and certify the work.
Do you work on refrigerated and insulated bodies?
Yes. We work on both dry freight and insulated bodies, and we install reefer units.
Do you keep parts in stock?
Yes. Our parts department stocks the common repair parts for tailgates, doors, panels and corner caps, which shortens turnaround. You can also buy parts at our counter.
Can I book a repair outside regular hours?
Yes. We schedule appointments on weeknights and weekends outside our regular hours. Call us to arrange a time.
What are your hours?
Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday, except for booked after-hours appointments.
How do I get a quote?
Call (905) 696-0651, send us the quote form (email photos of the damage to info@universaltruckbodies.com), or bring the truck to 1180 Aerowood Drive in Mississauga. Existing customers can also submit a service request through our online service portal.
Do you sell truck bodies and trucks?
Yes. We sell used truck bodies and used commercial trucks. You can browse trucks at universaltrucksales.com. Inventory changes often, so call our sales line at (905) 564-4944 or send a request and we'll tell you what's available.
